Message from the Chapter President

On behalf of the Air Force Sergeants Association and the 500+ active duty and retired members of the Spaceway Chapter, welcome to our website. 2008 was an exciting year for the chapter from: bingo fundraising, breakfast and dinner for dorm dwellers, Grace Resource Center trips, POW/MIA Recognition Day ceremony, Boy Scouts of America base tours, etc.

I am excited about the many opportunities we have this coming year for our chapter. We have so many things I want our chapter to work on this year! Events, fund-raisers, meetings, banquets, conventions, and having FUN are 2009's main objectives. However, we need your help! I am depending on members of this great chapter to step up even more this year and volunteer. This is your chapter, and when its members work together they can accomplish amazing feats--but it takes time, dedication, and a desire to serve others. If each of us does a little, we can get a lot done!

You can donate time to the chapter by volunteering, writing to your Congress members, Senators, and State Representatives so they hear our voice, or you can make monetary donations to help our cause. Even if you are retired or separated with an honorable discharge, you can help this professional organization achieve its goals and help some people along the way.

AFSA is a great organization whose goal is to take care of Air Force people, both active duty and veterans. We are OUR voice on Capitol Hill!

I am looking forward to a great year working with our members, community, and politicians to make a difference for the men and women of the Air Force. Thank you for electing me to lead this chapter. I am honored to be your Spaceway Chapter President. Hope to see you at our next meeting.
